Dear Friends,

We are excited about the great summer God is giving us! We got to preach at a church camp in Texas and we had 9 children trust Christ as their Savior! We traveled to Somerville Baptist Church in Somerville, AL and were able to conduct their VBS. God gave us over 175 different kids with 42 saved! That church and Pastor Shane Lewis were a special blessing to us as they went “above and beyond” and sacrificed to help meet some major truck repair needs for us. Pastor Lewis and Brother Chambers even drove over 1100 miles to pick up our rig after the repair was finished! We praise God for the generous hearts, selfless work, and servant’s spirit of that great church!

We held VBS at Cedar Crest Independent Baptist Church in Mount Union, PA after that! We had 12 kids and 1 teen saved there! Cedar Crest and my home church in Houston, TX also helped us greatly with some other financial needs Joy and I had! We praise God for meeting our needs so wonderfully! God then allowed us to travel to New Life Baptist Church in Odenville, AL. I got to preach at the teen Bible time where we had 7 teens saved and several other decisions!

Joy and I were blessed to spend some down time with my family over the Fourth of July week. We were thankful for my parents driving to see us and spend time with us. They even had some special gifts for our puppy, Sophie :)

Last week I was privileged to preach at Venture of Faith camp near Valdosta, GA. We had 160+ junior campers with many decisions and 11 salvation decisions! Now, we are serving at a VBS at Fairview Baptist Church in Decatur, AL. We are praying for more saved here and especially for our Friday night evangelistic night!

Next week we get to travel to where I grew up! We are holding a VBS and teen rally at Central Baptist Church in Ponca City, OK. Please pray for God’s power and for many decisions and salvations there! From there we travel to Kansas, Indiana, West Virginia, New Jersey, and Georgia! Please pray for God to continue to give his protection, provision, and power in our lives and ministry. Thank you so much for your friendship and for your prayers!

We praise God for being so good to us! And we are so thankful for your generous support! Your giving helps us serve God in evangelism, and our fruit abounds to your account (Phil 4:15-17)! Thank you!
